Terms of Service

Welcome to Meadow! These Terms are between you and Sand Harbor Software, LLC (doing business as Meadow). By using our platform, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Content Guidelines: You are free to publish your content, but it must not contain illegal material, pornography, or any form of harassment or doxing. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.
  2. Storage Limit: Each bundle is limited to a maximum of 50 MB. Please ensure your content stays within this limit.
  3. Permitted Use: This platform is intended for hosting websites for readers. It is not to be used for file distribution, torrenting, or any other unintended purposes.
  4. Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you create or publish through Meadow. By publishing content using our hosting service, you grant us a limited license to store and serve that content on your behalf. We claim no ownership or rights over your content beyond what is necessary to operate the service.
  5. Accounts & Subscriptions: Some features of Meadow require a paid subscription. If your subscription lapses, your published content will remain accessible and you may still delete files, but you will not be able to publish new content or make other changes. If your subscription remains lapsed for more than 30 days, we may remove your published content from our servers. Your local files are not affected by subscription status and remain on your device.
  6. Refunds: If you're not happy with your subscription, we offer a full refund within 90 days of any payment — no questions asked. Just email us at hello@meadow-notes.com and we'll take care of it.
  7. Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time through the account management page in the app or by contacting us.
  8. No Active Monitoring: We do not actively monitor content. However, if we receive a valid takedown request or detect abuse, we will take appropriate action.
  9. Compliance with Laws: You are responsible for ensuring that your content complies with the laws of your country.
  10. Disclaimer: Meadow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This applies to both the local application and the hosting service. While we strive to protect your data, we do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or that data loss or corruption will not occur. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of your local files and any content you publish.
  11. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sand Harbor Software, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Meadow, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of content, or interruption of service. In no event shall our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to your use of Meadow exceed the amounts you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  12. Changes to Terms: We may update these terms as needed. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
